I’ve been to multiple PT places over the years for a bunch of injuries- this place is on another level. The targeted massage and stretching techniques from the therapists here are mind blowing. They listen, answer questions, educate you, and don’t brush you off if you come in saying you looked up something.
Everyone from the front desk, to the techs, to the therapists in both locations are amazing. They really create a community feel which is nice when dealing with the stresses of an injury. Post operative to fine tuning, BBW has you covered!

The whole staff is great but Jim and Melvin are the best. I broke my ankle early this year if it wasn’t for them I would not have been able to walk as I am now… they are all friendly and very helpful. If I need to come back in the near future I will in a heartbeat!!

After a car accident, I was left with numerous injuries. I went to a few chiropractors but didn’t feel like I was receiving real, helpful treatment. I chose to visit BBW based on their reviews and everybody was so attentive and helpful. I truly appreciate how useful the prescribed exercises and soft tissue mobilization techniques were for my healing, and will definitely be recommending others here as well. Everybody is a specialist! If you’re looking for the kindest and best professionals, you must go!

Love it here. I had to go for several things. Because of work I couldn’t go but once a week. Several of the guys n one female.. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name except for Matt n Melvin but faces i won’t forget. Best staff ever. At the end I ended up staying with Melvin. Great guy n made u feel comfortable cus Lord knowed I was terrified. Both foot n hand are doing much better. Now I have problem with other foot n I have to go to a place where staff changes every week uuuggghhhh lol I miss them. Best place miss them.
I started coming here because Dr. Meliso recommend to my daughter to have few sessions after a bone bruise she had. The place is good and their staff are super attentive and friendly. Also they work until 6 pm which is great for people who needs to come after work. One of our favorite therapist is Nathaly she is great but don’t get me wrong they all have knowledge of what they are doing. It’s super conveniently located near the G line service and the J&M trains. Definitely recommend this place to everyone who is looking for great therapy services.

Book with Melvin or Matt and get totally top notch brilliant work. They both totally helped me recover from a herniated disc issue in my neck (along with massage sessions from our own staff) and the combo of massage and PT prevented me from probably surgery. –

Chelsea is an absolutely brilliant therapist. I’ve only been going a few weeks but I am shocked at how much I have improved and how intuitive she is as to the complex bits and pieces that make up our body and cause these terrible pains post injury. I Have a partially torn ACL and a Baker’s cyst! Everyone at Brooklyn Bodyworks is super friendly and attentive I am really happy I found them after a long search!!!

I have been going consistently to Brooklyn Body Works (BBW) for some 4+ years now due to multiple injuries to different parts of my body. I have been a New York City school teacher for about 22-years, and I honestly believe that without the comprehensive care they have given me, I could not have continued to teach at such a high level as I have, or perhaps not at all. I have been to several other therapists over the years, as has my husband of 32-years, and both of us agree absolutely and with the strongest possible height of belief that Brooklyn Body Works is, bar none, the finest, and her personnel the most dedicated, physical therapy center in New York City. (Every once in a while, you find a place so extraordinary and so above the rest that you feel you are somehow blessed with this discovery; it’s like finding the most honest and knowledgeable car mechanic after years of getting ripped-off.). It is simply, in my opinion, the very best of the best. Thank you BBW for helping me to function all these years —I love you guys!
After countless MRIs, X-RAYS, podiatrists, orthopedics, and other physical therapy clinics AND being told I needed surgery on my right knee at 17 years old, I had honestly lost hope of finding a solution to why I have recurring knee pains for the past 5 years. As a consistent runner, it was extremely discouraging hearing to not only stop doing my favorite sport, but to also hear that surgery was the only option for me. Within 20 minutes of conversation and evaluation of my first visit, Melvin was able to identify the alignment issue of my hip & legs and point out exercises that would strengthen and help relieve my pain. Each therapist I’ve worked with really cares to spend a full therapy session with the patient and definitely does not skimp out on rehab time.
EVERYONE here is extremely friendly, and I’m so grateful to have found such a genuinely caring and helpful group of people.

I was in a lot of pain and very depressed after bad surgeries of my right knee. I came to BBW with a frozen knee and I couldn’t even bend more than 50 degrees. Melvin, my PT, saving me from this bad situation. He is very professional, knowledgeable, patient and caring. I remember every moments that he is helping me not only about my knee, he is also helping me look for doctors, deal with insurance and cheer me up. Every sessions I stayed more than 2 hours sometimes 3 hours, I truly feel that I am welcomed, cared, not rushed. I always looked forward my visits cuz I could see the improvement every single time.
Since I have been here for more than seven months, almost 80 sessions here, I almost worked with every one here: Matt, Natalia, Natalie, Shang, and all the other stuffs. Every one is amazing and very warm hearted. I can’t express how grateful and lucky that I found this place. And I will highly recommend everyone to come here for physical therapy. They never give up on you.

Best PT I have ever experienced. Matt and his staff are amazing. I cannot thank them enough for all that they are doing for me. Each session I have had so far is at least an hour and a half and they really take their time in my rehabilitation sessions. I really wish I had done my homework much better last year for my other knee and found here.
Matt and his staff are professionals at all sorts of injuries and they are really working hard to get my tibial plateau fracture and my completely ruptured ACL to the strength and motion I need to get back to work and function normally.
I truly appreciate all Matt and his staff are doing for me and HIGHLY recommend this facility to everyone and anyone of all ages that need PT/Rehab. You will not be disappointed.
The best Physical Therapy place I have ever been to!
Hi everyone! This is definitely the place you want to go to for recovery of any kind, wether you had surgery or just pulled a muscle. They will take great care of you and not only get you better but they definitely make you feel better all around. Everyone is professional and very warm hearted. I had shoulder clavicle surgery last September to repair a non-union break that I had suffered a year ago from an accident. I started physical therapy in October and have been recently discharged. Through the entire time, the staff was helpful in advising and rehabilitating my injuries. It was a great experience such that now I have also integrated some of their workout exercises into my normal regiment as I get back into things. I can say with confidence that I feel much better and look forward to getting into active sports again.
I highly recommend (especially athletes!) to check out this place. They have the right tools and personnel to achieve your athletic and personal goals.
It was a pleasure to have Natalia as my PT with all her supportive staff. I hope to break something soon, so that I can go back in again. Just kidding!

I first came here when the business had just started and was getting on its feet. It used to be a small cute quaint place and all the therapists were very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Just recently injured myself and had the pleasure of coming back to them and seeing that they’ve stepped up their game with a much bigger and beautiful space! Lots more of equipment and different therapists. Things are still the same as far as the service is concerned. Great therapists. Even more knowledgeable and helpful.
I’ve spent a lot of time here and continue to do so. Melvin and Matt are the best therapists ever. They keep me busy, challenge my body while going through extensive rehab. Recently had surgery on my ACL and so far my recovery has been great! Better than I expected. I am now about to have surgery on my shoulder to fix some tears in my rotator cuff and I look forward to the recovery process with the two of them taking care of me.
I can’t forget to mention the great techs that assist me throughout my workouts. JASON, Mike and Laura. It’s been great working with everyone here.

My go to guys for pain management and the healing power of laughter and genuine care. For over 3 years I’ve worked with BBB and I feel like the team is the best I could ask for! I called several establishments for an appointment, BBW got back to me in a very timely manner, and set up my appointment with ease. I didn’t get a response from several other places for over a week.
The front desk staff is always delightful, and helpful. As for my therapist, Sang is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and worked wonders with me.
The one on one service is what makes the difference , and never a wait.

Sang is the best physical therapist, hands down. I had been to a few in the Manhattan/Brooklyn area prior to seeing Sang and had start to lose faith in PT as a means to address my chronic neck and shoulder pain. However, when I was referred to Sang, that’s my health finally made a change for the better. Because of Sang, I actually have pain-free days for the first time in years, something that I didn’t think was possible. I appreciate that he takes a holistic approach to help his patients understand the systemic issues underlying what are seemingly isolated areas of pain, versus other physical therapists who will only treat the one problem area without trying to understand the root cause(s) of it.
I also highly recommend Myungjin, the acupuncturist at this practice. When I first went to see her, I was suffering from frequent migraines in addition to the chronic neck and shoulder pain, and not to mention general stress and anxiety exacerbated by the pandemic. After a few sessions, the migraines were all but gone and I was starting to feel lighter and “better” in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time. Not only is she a healer, but she is a thoughtful listener that truly cares to know you as a full human.
I am so grateful to have been introduced to both Sang and Myungjin’s healing practices, and can’t recommend them enough!
Also, Kayla in Billing is phenomenal and she will do everything possible to advocate for you as the patient. I have never seen a staff member at any medical practice I’ve ever been to go as above and beyond as she does. She is amazing. (Thank you Kayla!)
Regularly visiting this office every week. Treatment is wonderful, they’ve staggered appointments so there’s no crowding. Extremely clean and all of the staff are so helpful. Highly recommend this practice in either office.

1st appointment today and I must say, excellent attention to detail. Chelsea my PT was amazing. From the front desk with Kayla who was so welcoming to the therapy straight thru. Just 2 1/2 weeks from hip replacement surgery and a huge difference between home Physical Therapy vs. BBW. Looking forward to going back Monday and forward.
