This is well overdue… but I could not recommend Sang and the team at BBW enough!! I snapped my ACL right before COVID hit and Sang was an absolute savior in treating me for months of prehab while I awaited surgery, then getting me through my surgery and post as well.
His treatment method is the most effective I’ve found, though not for the faint of heart (Lol) – he functionally treats every misalignment or root cause and truly cares about his patients and their progress. Sang is the best physical therapist, hands down. I had been to a few in the Manhattan/Brooklyn area prior to seeing Sang and had start to lose faith in PT as a means to address my chronic neck and shoulder pain. However, when I was referred to Sang, that’s my health finally made a change for the better. Because of Sang, I actually have pain-free days for the first time in years, something that I didn’t think was possible. I appreciate that he takes a holistic approach to help his patients understand the systemic issues underlying what are seemingly isolated areas of pain, versus other physical therapists who will only treat the one problem area without trying to understand the root cause(s) of it.

I also highly recommend Myungjin, the acupuncturist at this practice. When I first went to see her, I was suffering from frequent migraines in addition to the chronic neck and shoulder pain, and not to mention general stress and anxiety exacerbated by the pandemic. After a few sessions, the migraines were all but gone and I was starting to feel lighter and “better” in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time. Not only is she a healer, but she is a thoughtful listener that truly cares to know you as a full human.

I am so grateful to have been introduced to both Sang and Myungjin’s healing practices, and can’t recommend them enough!

Also, Kayla in Billing is phenomenal and she will do everything possible to advocate for you as the patient. I have never seen a staff member at any medical practice I’ve ever been to go as above and beyond as she does. She is amazing. (Thank you Kayla!)
